Specifications: Long oil alkyds are characterized by having an oil content greater than 55%. They are used extensively for interior and exterior architectural finishes, deck coatings, and chalk adhesion modifiers for latex paint. The high oil content helps give a smooth brushing action. These resins are infinately soluble in aliphalic type solvents. Some high solids systems may be cut in aromatic or oxygenated solvent systems.
